Breathe

Stress plays a huge role in everyone’s life, whether it is related to work, children, finances, or lack there of. When we learn different ways to let go of the stresses related to these topics, the relief can be endless. Try one of these breathing exercises to begin your relief today.

1. Sit in a comfortable seated position and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, and exhale slowly. Do this two more times. Now let your breath return to normal and focus on your inhale and exhale, if you’d like, say in and out as you are doing it. You can do this for 1 minute, you can do it for 15 minutes, however you choose, just notice the relaxation take place as you focus on only your breath instead of what the stressor was.
